Traveling time between the Portland International Airport and The Mount Hood Inn is about 90 minutes. The MARGINS Office will be arranging bus and van shuttle service between Portland International Airport and the Timberline Lodge on Monday, September 22 and on Friday, September 26. We will provide more information and schedules as the workshop approaches and as we receive participant itineraries. The meeting room has wireless internet service. Posters dimensions should be 4' x 4'.
The AGU Chapman Conference on Shallow Mantle Composition and Dynamics Fifth International Orogenic Lherzolite Conference will be held at Mount Shasta, CA during the same time interval as the SEIZE Workshop. The conveners of this meeting have graciously offered participants from the SEIZE workshop to join in on their Josephine peridotite field trip on September 19-21, and their Trinity peridotite field trip on September 27-28. Please send all field trip inquiries to the Fifth International Orogenic Lherzolite Conference principal conveners, Peter Kelemen or Henry Dick.
