until we are all gathered in Snowbird. We are very
pleased to send you the meeting details below.
HOTEL CONTACT INFORMATION
The meeting is being held at the Snowbird Conference Center.
For full

HOTEL BOOKING AND MEETING REGISTRATION
Accommodation has been reserved for you from Sunday night
through Thursday
night (total 5 nights).
If you are arriving before or departing after these dates,
you will need to
make your own accommodation arrangements. Extra nights can
be booked at the
Snowbird Ski Resort using the special rate we have for our
meeting. Email Sara
Groves or call
her at1-800-453-3000 extension 4972 . The hotel rate
for our meeting is $195
per room per
night, and the room can sleep one or two people.
The MARGINS office will have a meeting registration desk
in
the hotel foyer,
and you should come to this desk for your participant folder
when you check
in to the hotel.
TRAVEL DETAILS NEEDED
Travel details have still not been sent to us by a sizeable
number of
participants. Please urgently enter your information on
the Travel
Details form.
GROUP TRANSPORT
Your transport from Salt Lake City airport to the meeting
venue (and return)
is arranged by MARGINS, using the shuttle service provided
by Canyon
Transportation (the web page will open in a separate
window). You can use this transport
at any time
on Saturday,
Sunday
or Monday. Vans leave the airport every 15-30 minutes.
The trip to the hotel
takes about 45 minutes.
Canyon Transportation has a reception desk in the baggage
claim area of each
terminal and will have the names of all MARGINS attendees
on a pre-paid
list. They will have a sign on their desk to welcome
MARGINS attendees. Any guests accompanying you can also
use the
same shuttle service,
and
should pay for their ticket at the Canyon Transportation

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENTS
Travel reimbursements will be made after the meeting.

be given to you at the meeting.
PROGRAM
The Workshop
Program is posted on this website and will be updated as
needed.
PRESENTATIONS
One PowerPoint projector, one slide projector,
one overhead projector and
one whiteboard will all be available for
your presentations. Two screens
will be in place at all times.

be posted lateron
this website.
PAYMENT OF FEES
A reminder for those of you who have fees to
pay for single rooms or for
self-funded participants. Fees are to be
paid at the start of the institute
during registration. Please bring a check
in US$ made out to "Trustees
of
Columbia University". (Checks are
preferred, but travelers checks or cash
may be used if necessary. Credit card payment
is not available).
